About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operational Risk Specialist in Corporate Risk as part of Operational Risk Management. This role is part of the Operational Risk Events (ORE) Program that is responsible for oversight of the ORE Policy at Wells Fargo. This role is responsible for business-as-usual execution, governance, and independent monitoring activities in adherence to the ORE Policy.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the ORE Program's oversight monitoring activities for ORE Policy adherence with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.

  • Support other existing monitoring activities for ORE policy adherence, including execution, updates / enhancements to documentation of processes / controls, and associated management reporting.

  • Support the engagement of front line and IRM partners involved in the ORE Program, including development and presentation of education/training materials and recurring formal communications from the ORE program. This includes serving as a primary point of contact for selected stakeholder groups.

  • Collaborate with ORE team members and stakeholders as needed for other enhancement efforts and/or on-going periodic submissions related to historical projects, as necessary.

  • Support engagements with IT&V, Audit, other third-party review partners, as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a related operational risk, corporate risk, audit, or compliance role

  • Experience or familiarity with RCSA, internal and external loss events, and/or issues management

  • Experience evaluating processes, risks, and design of the effectiveness of controls

  • Strong understanding of risk functions, business operations or processes

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while prioritizing work and balancing multiple initiatives

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
