In this role you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Research Engineer you will:
- Implements new and existing test methods to perform physical, optical and mechanical analysis on films, adhesives, and non-woven materials as well as tape and dressing products
- Supports method developers by actively engaging in communication related to testing and results, equipment issues, and workload progress
- Determines sample properties and whether the performance is correct and accurate. Record and report those results back to the method developers and cross-functional teams as needed.
- Draft and release engineering related technical documents (i.e. Test Methods, Test Reports, Test Protocols, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering preferred
- Experience with physical property testing of tapes, adhesives, biomechanics, and dressings
- Experience presenting scientific results verbally and visually
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in technical documentation/writing
- Experience with using scientific instruments/equipment and familiarity with lab safety
