Job Summary
As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, performing transactions, answering the phone, and operating front office equipment. You'll support the Front Office Supervisor and manage front office operations to surpass company standards for guest satisfaction.
Specific Duties
Maximize revenue goals through strategic up-selling and down-selling.
Coordinate daily guest arrivals and departures, including special requests.
Follow cash handling procedures and maintain organized front office space.
Communicate daily activities to appropriate departments.
Seek guest feedback and resolve issues to exceed expectations.
Respond to and direct emergency situations and security issues.
Report any health, safety, or hazard issues to the supervisor.
Maintain safety standards for guests and employees.
Operate the front desk, including shift reports and cash management.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Ensure proper key control and compliance with hotel standards.
Collaborate with the sales team to enhance revenue opportunities.
Demonstrate a good understanding of the PMS system.
Be flexible with shift work and provide coverage as needed.
Complete shift activities and reports for management review.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Customer service or hotel front desk experience preferred.
Language Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in English is required.
Customer Satisfaction: A positive guest experience is our top priority. Professionalism and courtesy towards guests and associates are essential.
