QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of IT experience, focusing on backup and recovery systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in backup software (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Veritas), storage solutions, and cloud-based backup technologies.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of data protection principles, disaster recovery processes, and risk management.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or vendor-specific certifications) are a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Project management experience is a plus.
