Summary:
The Director, Construction and Dev will oversee the construction and development of hospital facilities across the health care system. This role reports to the Exec. Director, Construction & Development. They will be responsible for being able to effectively communicate, manage, and influence across multiple different levels in the organization and aide and lead change across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Construction and Development - Lead a team of over 3+ system wide project managers to deliver a multitude of highly complex, multi-million projects (sometimes in excess of $150M each) that meet scope requirements, and are within budget, and delivered on time. Reviews and evaluates existing construction/development programs, services, policies and procedures. Prepares and manages construction/development budgets for current and future projects. Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff. Monitors work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel. Provides oversight of the health care systems design and construction relationships and agreements.

Other Information
Education Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
Professional Experience Requirements:
- Requires eight (8) years of experience in complex hospital construction experience at a managerial level
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
- Must have extensive knowledge of the Joint Commission, NFPA and other healthcare regulatory agencies
