Job Description
Assist branch leadership with the overall supervision and workflow of the building with the end goal of accuracy of inventory, on-time order processing and accurate delivery of product to the customer. - Analyze and manage the daily labor needs and identify areas of efficiency within staffing and/or work volume. Redirect resources as necessary around the building to meet the needs of the customer. - Review scheduling completed by supervisors to ensure coverage at all times as well as balance of work hours to enable consistent flow of work out if the building. Direct appropriate staff (maintenance, shipping, receiving, etc) to resolve issues as they arise. - Develop, recommend, and implement alternative work around strategies when issues arise impacting one or more areas of the location. - Monitor all outbound activities at the location and make adjustments as required. - Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues. - Coach, train and mentor team members in thearea of productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values. Education - High school diploma Relevant Work Experience - 3 years supervisory experience Additional - Experience with and knowledge of WMS - Willingness to work weekends and/or non-standard hours PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education - Bachelor's degree preferred.
