As a member of the Corporate Communications group, this temporary position will assist the Corporate Events and Social Mission teams with programs and projects related to event marketing and logistics, community relations and staff-driven charitable activities.The temp will also provide hands-on support of select on-campus MathWorks events. The ideal candidate will be able to commit 40 hours per week from May to September 2025.

Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Participate in project status meetings
- Take and disseminate meeting notes
- Track the status of outstanding deliverables
- Maintain process documentation
Event support:
- Review and validate event marketing content
- Track event registrations and form submissions
- Coordinate recruiting and communications for events
- Provide hands-on support of on-campus events
Corporate Social Responsibility Program support:
- Administer staff benefits related to sponsorships
- Process requests for community grants
- Publish news and announcements to staff members via email, SharePoint, Yammer group forums, digital signage and other communications media, as appropriate
- Gather and compile information for periodic activity reports
Special projects, as needed
Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through;
- Mature and uses sound judgment;
- Excellent project management and time management skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Deadline-oriented and extremely organized;
- Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member;
- Comfortable working with Excel, other Microsoft Office applications, and databases;
- Previous experience working in an office/business environment a plus.
