Gat Creek is seeking an experienced Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team.
The Safety and Environmental Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.   This position will work directly with company leadership, to ensure a safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safety protocol, possess excellent communication skills and be detail orientated.
 
This position requires a working knowledge of regulatory codes including but not limited to: OSHA, Environmental EPA, DOT/HazMat, Workers Comp, WV Fire Code, NFPA and DHS CSAT/CFATS. 

Education and certification requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience, Advanced First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, CRA Hazardous Waste Management Certification, EPA Method 9.
