Machine Shop Foreman:




Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Recruit, select, hire, manage and motivate shop floor employees.

2. Provide supervision to accomplish job specifications and operations provided by the Engineering Department. Communicate details to facilitate the manufacturing process including

3. Perform job review per quality procedures.
   
4. Evaluate and discipline employee under your direct supervision.
   
5. Assist in selection of tools, tooling and equipment required to perform jobs.
   
6. Schedule resources within your department to meet company goals.
   
7. Assist in training.
   
8. Oversee the maintenance of building, machines and equipment of your department.
   
9. Provide status of each job's status at the production meetings.
   
10. Promote safety in the workplace. Notify management of all incidents, accidents and conditions which may be unsafe.

Candidate should have extensive machine shop background (15-20 years).
