JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the VP, National Fleet Sales; this role will be responsible for the oversight of all bus flow, planning, and execution- both internally and externally. The coordinator will act as the liaison between the Manufacturing, Sales, and Distribution Planning teams to achieve operational plans that maximize resources while maintaining booking targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures of Inventory Management (internal and external controls
- Lead the National Accounts (fleet, GSA, Chassis) schedule with corporate planning and develop optimal operational plans that incorporate manufacturing constraints
- Accountable for the enforcement and management of commercial relationships with Driveway companies to ensure efficient flow of deliveries
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, quality and Distribution teams to optimize targets that support our ability to deliver the promise to our customers
- Report to material and manufacturing leadership on production status and identify countermeasures
- Analyze data, process flows, and sales functions to maximize resources
- Develop and challenge resources to improve performance through optimized systems, continuous process improvements
- Prepare and maintain annual materials operating budgets by providing monthly tracking of performance and monthly commodity/activity and savings
- Monitor Supplier Performance Measurement in terms of quality and service of the cost via reporting structures
- Manage the Approved Vendor List including Vendor Profile, Vendor
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR SUCCESS
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. Skilled in ERP Software
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to find solutions and deal proactively with work-related problems
- Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to create concepts, practices, and tools to resolve problems or improve current processes
BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field required
- 5+ years of vehicle logistics experience required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Valid driver’s license; Commercial license preferred (Training & support will be provided to obtain the license If needed.)
