Job Summary
A Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist role uses expertise to enhance healthcare methods for learners. They improve patient outcomes and their own techniques.
What You'll Do
- You will create and assess professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning.
- You'll identify the needs of our staff, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs.
- You will help implement education plans. You will create a positive environment to reach our goals.
- You'll design and assess educational activities and projects. You'll engage team members and implement evidence-based content.
- Use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes. Involve learners in evaluation and adjust material based on data collected.
- You'll build relationships with various community education programs and weave ethics through all aspects of your educational practice.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
- Familiarity with nursing practices, standards of patient care and procedures.
- Comprehensive grasp of pertinent laws, regulations and standards set by accrediting agencies.

SPECIALITY/DEPARTMENT PRACTICE: Med Surg and Transplant
SHIFT/SCHEDULE:Full time days, Monday-Friday with flexibility to work with night and weekend Staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of pertinent experience is essential.
- RN license and BLS certification. If not BLS certified yet, they must obtain it within 30 days of hire.
