Job Description:

Azure Principal Architect
Hybrid in Pittsburgh 3x per Week!
CANNOT DO C2C--Candidates Must Sit on Apex Systems W2

We are seeking an experienced Azure Principal Architect to join our team. As an Azure Principal Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions for external collaboration using SharePoint and other Azure services. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring secure file sharing, implementing best practices, and optimizing the architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and architect external SharePoint environments for secure file sharing and collaboration.
• Develop a “Straw Man” architecture that outlines the high-level design and components.
• Implement best practices for Azure services, including Active Directory and guest accounts.
• Provide recommendations on security, scalability, and performance.
• Lead the implementation process, ensuring successful deployment and configuration.

Qualifications:

• Azure Certification: Must hold relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-303, AZ-304, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an Azure Architect, with a focus on SharePoint and collaboration solutions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure AD, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online and on-premises SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with guest accounts and external collaboration scenarios.
  • Ability to create detailed architecture diagrams and documentation.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present architectural recommendations.
