Job Description:

Apex has an immediate need for a Sr. Project Manager local to the Cincinnati area.
Ideal candidates must have the following:

• Demonstrable Project Management experience
• Successful experience leading multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience establishing and implementing a project intake process
• Experience building and managing great relationships with key technology and business leaders/stakeholders

• Become familiar quickly with a very large and complex Finance and Technology organization, ways of working and enterprise processes.
• Understand individual Finance projects and ensure appropriate-levels of project management rigor are applied.
• Establish and facilitate a project in-take process.
• Partner with Finance business and Product leads to ensure issues are being addressed in a timely fashion and priorities are understood.
• Partner with dedicated Project Managers to ensure individual project issues and risks are being communicated upward for resolution.
• Manage overall project resource capacity levels.
• Meeting coordination, facilitation and follow-up.
• Create and track schedules, risks and issues, and budget (when applicable).
• Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed.
• Maintain project communications with stakeholders at multiple levels.
