RA II/SRA- Translational Research and In Vivo Specialist 2044704Location: South San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Science/ Focus: Small Molecule
Job Overview: Seeking a versatile professional to manage in vivo mouse tumor studies and conduct hands-on lab tasks.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Manage mouse tumor projects, analyze data, and prepare presentations for Translational Medicine
- Perform animal handling, dosing, and necropsies for in vivo studies in the Vivarium Lab
- Keep detailed experiment records, analyze basic data, and follow strict lab protocols.
- Ensure animal welfare, comply with ethical standards, and be available for occasional weekend work.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, or related, with 2-4 years in translational or vivarium settings.
- Strong skills in organization, communication, and mouse handling.
- Understand and follow lab safety and ethical guidelines; capable of independent multitasking.
- Open to learning new techniques with precise adherence to directives.
