Senior Technical Project Manager
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening in the Online Retail space for a Senior Technical Project Manager with experience with a background in retail media or ad sales from a technical project perspective, strong experience working with internal cross functional teams and external clients.
Client: Online Retail Enterprise
Terms: 6 month rolling contract, mulit-year projects
Location: Hybrid/ Toronto

Our Client is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to join their Enterprise Solution - Retailer Delivery team. This role involves orchestrating the execution of retailer implementation projects and ensuring seamless onboarding for retail partners.
Key Accountabilities:
- Project Planning: Understand retailer needs, define key deliverables, estimate timelines, assess risks, and prepare necessary tools.
- Project Execution: Lead project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule, and maintain essential documents for transparency.
- Technical & Operational Roll-Out: Oversee the deployment of enterprise fulfillment/ads solutions, ensuring quality through testing and collaboration with technical teams.
- Customer Relationship Management: Anticipate retailer needs and guide clients confidently through the process.
- Leadership: Lead internal and external teams, building trust and showcasing competence.
- Multi-Project Management: Manage multiple projects, fostering cross-functional synergy.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or substantial industry experience with a track record of delivering enterprise-level software projects.
· Strong understanding of multi-tiered software solutions and large-scale operational roll-outs.
· Rapid technical mastery and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent customer management skills, adept at addressing complex needs and delivering difficult messages.
· Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
· Proven leadership abilities, capable of galvanizing teams and driving positive outcomes.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with Engineering and Product Managers.
· Strong grasp of project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in Retail Technology, Operations, or Logistics.
· Certifications such as PMP, SCM, or ITIL.
· Mastery in project management/process improvement methodologies.
Ideal Candidate:
· A seasoned professional passionate about leading projects in an enterprise retail technology landscape, excelling in technical project management, collaboration, and innovation.
