We are seeking a Private Wealth Coordinator for Bernstein Private Wealth Management, a unit of AllianceBernstein, L.P. Bernstein Private Wealth Coordinators are client service professionals who exhibit drive, ambition, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and who, in collaboration with Wealth Advisors and Management, help propel the growth of our Private Wealth Management Platform. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to partner with senior investment professionals to serve a broad range of clients’ needs.
A Coordinator will:
Partner with multiple Wealth Advisors to boost productivity and efficiency through service and support functions, as follows:
Ensure Advisors are prepared for client and prospect meetings, including creating and preparing presentations, meeting materials, and reports.
Effectively manage Advisors’ calendars, including scheduling and maintaining meetings, while considering preferences and needs.
Proactively communicate with Advisors to understand priorities and keep them up to date on changes and developments that impact their practice and clients.
Build strong relationships with clients and their professionals, responding to their needs with urgency and willingness to go above and beyond expectations.
Collaborate with other Coordinators, Associates, management, and internal business partners to complete tasks, find solutions, and support business goals.
Participate in event coordination for the office with responsibilities including attending strategy calls, attendee outreach, and event logistics.
Take ownership of tasks related to general office maintenance, including ordering supplies and facilities management.
General administrative duties including writing correspondence, answering phones, database maintenance, processing mail and checks, and organizing travel plans.
As tasks are mastered, duties may be supplemented with other projects of increasing responsibility to further enhance business development and client servicing efforts.
Approximate Hours: 8am–5pm. Flexibility to work overtime as workload demands change. Total compensation is competitive and comprised of base salary plus overtime.
Our Comprehensive Training and Development Program
Coordinators will participate in a robust and comprehensive training program that will build a foundation of investment knowledge and develop the quantitative and qualitative skills needed to achieve client service excellence and fuel success as an investment professional, regardless of your incoming background. Curriculum will be delivered in various mediums such as interactive virtual sessions, group collaboration, and on-the-job individual training. The program will include:
In-depth industry training on proprietary investments, services, policies, and procedures.
A focus on client service excellence, partnership, and sales training in order to provide an exceptional client experience.
Behavioral training geared toward the development of communication, leadership, and other professional skills.
Career management, one-on-one coaching, and specialized skills training to achieve success beyond the Coordinator role.
Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience as a Coordinator, Administrative or Executive Support in a corporate or professional office.
People who possess strong analytical and communication skills, resourcefulness, and an ability to build relationships.
Accomplished team players who thrive in a rigorous and challenging environment.
Individuals who are client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Individuals who have a bachelor’s degree with excellence in academics and strong leadership experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.​
