How You'll Shape the future of the Finishing & Warehouse Departments:

Finishing

  • Create Dope Sheets for Finishing and update Finishing Schedule with order information changes such as new orders, new booking dates, or booking changes (vessel changes).
  • Assist with both on grade and off grade inventory in the Jesup warehouse that may be used for an order. Coordinate this information with the Master Production Scheduler.
  • Coordinate samples and material needed to complete trials for domestic and export shipment.
  • Create and maintain the finishing specifications for any new SAP materials.
  • Collaborate with Technical Marketing and IT to create customer specific Two Labels, Single labels

Warehouse

  • Owner of approval of new material numbers in SAP. Requires communication and coordination with Technical, Sales, the Master Production Scheduler, and Finishing Managers.
  • Plan loads for export orders, prepare load documents, coordinate with finishing with required dates, and mode of transport.
  • Collects and posts container waybills. Posting includes all manually loaded containers and problematic issues that occur within SAP
  • Affixes checklist stamp to each Daicel load sheet. Verifies proper completion prior to filing.
  • Manage seven offsite warehouses to ensure all product is loaded to fill each order to meet customer demand. Update spreadsheet for each warehouse twice a week and communicate daily with each warehouse to minimize customer complaints and ensure on time delivery. Confirm correct lot and package ranges are loaded for each order. (Eighth offsite warehouse being added soon “Port City”)
  • Batch Determine (Post loads in SAP) for all orders loaded at off-site warehouses. This includes verification of lot and package information.
  • Communicate and verify lots/packages that were loaded by the off-site warehouse to ensure correct bill of laded and reduce customer complaints through proper inventory management.
  • Manually enter the packing list from six of the seven offsite warehouses for each load that you verified into each vehicle.
  • Create transport orders and create deliveries, complete the batch determine process, then PGI the load to the port for all exported orders.
  • Coordinate with Hudd on container drop yards to ensure that all containers are batched with the correct deliveries, so drivers are provided with the correct paperwork for delivery.
  • Complete the unbatch determine process for all containers going to drop yard and create new deliveries to the correct location then complete the batch determine process. Once containers arrive at drop complete PGI process.
  • Upon containers arriving at drop yard create deliveries to the port and complete batch determine process. Once containers gate into the port complete PGI process.
  • Merge load sheets, waybills, and Lot Inquiry printouts, files in Order folders.
  • Manage Jesup Warehouse daily operations when Warehouse Manager is away from the mill.

You'll Be Someone Who Can Bring:

  • Highschool or equivalent, plus one-year business school or equivalent
  • 3-4 years warehouse experience
  • SAP knowledge, strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of MS suite of applications
