The Department of Biology at New York University invites applications foraVisiting Clinical Assistant Professor (non tenure-track). This is a one year teaching position with a course load of 6 courses per year. The appointment will begin on January 1, 2025,pending administrative and budgetary approval.
Pay Transparency Statement
In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $75,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
Qualifications:
The Department of Biology offers an outstanding and collegial environment for research and teaching. We seek a scholar with the ability to teach both experimental and computational biology - including at least one laboratory-based course preferably in genetics and genomics, as well as a biostatistics course with extensive use of R. Applicants should hold a PhD; postdoctoral research experience is preferred.
