Operates all equipment pertinent to the procedures. Evaluates and educates all customers regarding the vascular disease process and non-invasive diagnostic procedures.Job DutiesPerforms testing on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. Performs all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing.Performs all studies following Vascular Surgery protocols, including but not limited to current IAC Standards.Positions and handles patient with a high degree of professional ethics, care, tact, courtesy, patience, and safety. Maintains pertinent patient documentation.Determines images appropriate for diagnostic purposes.Checks order and history. Reviews charts, selects appropriate equipment and transducer setting for tests ordered.Coordinates timing of exams. Triages the patients.Records and files study results. General understanding and working knowledge of a variety of diagnostic equipment. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of patient's needs.
