Position Description
Job Summary
This position is the entry position for the production group. The Vacation Reliefwill have to work rotating shifts because the plant operates 24/7/365. The individual will be required to learn several positions in order to fill in for vacancies. Collectively, the teams manage the day-to-day operation to maintain a Preferred Choice status.
Required Qualifications
- Rotating shifts - weekend and holiday work
- Working around heavy and moving equipment
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods
- Maintain Production Records accurately & timely
- Maintain proper housekeeping
- Dump hoppers from the production area
- Cross-train on other jobs with the plant
- Be committed to Good Attendance
- Monitor/Test/Inspect product for Quality
- Monitor End-Tape
- Willing to perform all tasks in a safe manner
- Perform LOTO as required per safety policies
- Willing to wear required PPE
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
