Description:
You will be the Traffic Administrator Associate for the Material Center. Our team is responsible for managing INBOUND and OUTBOUND freight to support business unit (Orlando) operations and customer programs - this includes all modes and methods of transport for both domestic/international imports and exports shipments.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Traffic Administrator Associate, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and routing inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments of freight, using knowledge of postal regulations, tariffs, and company policy. Coordinates with carriers, audits freight bills, prepares and negotiates claims, and selects or recommends carriers to ensure efficient, timely, and least expensive movement of goods and material. Conducts research on transportation methods, rates, and routes. Develops programs to audit and monitor carrier rates and charges and
evaluates past performance and cost of transportation.
This position typically requires 1+ years of professional experience with a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education plus 1-3 years of basic traffic experience.
-The ability to interface with outside
transportation organizations and internal
customers.
-Experience coordinating outbound
shipping documentation for commercial and
government shipments utilizing in-house
company and government shipping systems.
-Conducts research on transportation methods,
rates, and routes.
-Basic understanding of
auditing and monitoring carrier rates and
charges and evaluates past performance and
cost of transportation.
-Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
DFAR & WAWF Process knowledgeable to resolve
issues with DCMA and Customers.
MFC Exports, US Customs reporting (AES) &
Routing - Complex & DD250s.
Develop quotes for programs, with Gov't
auditable rates and rationale.
Import/export traffic experience.
Bachelor's degree in related field
Domestic Transportation experience
Excellent communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
