ECS is seeking a Test Engineer to work in our Remote office.

Job Description:

Complete testing documentation and activities in accordance with Air Force acquisition process model.

Employ a test and evaluation process to address overall test management approach for planning controlling and conducting a test and evaluation of product releases to support decisions.

Perform test and evaluation of IDECS to:

• Confirm capabilities are fully operational,
• Ientify deficiencies validate requirements, and
• Ensure that users are satisfied.
• Support Agile DevSecOps methodology with automated testing to minimize elapsed time from development to deployed capabilities and to further support the CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform testing in accordance with (AFI) 99-103 Capabilities-Based Test & Evaluation.
• Develop or update when required a software test plan to convey methodology for Component Validation & Integration testing, product user acceptance testing, system operability evaluation testing, software problem reports, discrepancy reports and change requests and identifying specific test plans for the release or item under maintenance.

Support all test phases including:

• CV& I (including individual component and assembled end-to-end-testing).
• Product and Regression testing of the entire system for each upgrade or patch installed to ensure functionality.
• Support and participate with the government's testing and test phases in accordance with the IDECS PWS. Prepare and submit required documentation to include The Software Test Description, Software Test Reports.
• Perform Configuration Management Support duties.
• Augment Service Desk activities when required.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills:

Ability to

• Test, plan, create/review, test strategies, test cases development, test case
• Review/update, Development Test Scripts from Business Requirement Documents
• Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases
• Identify areas for improved testing processes
• Experience in smoke, functional, regression and post deployment testing
• Ability to write scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Experience in JIRA software to create, update progress for the ticket during testing phase.
• Perform problem solving exercise(s) to determine issues in the software and submit JIRA accordingly

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Test Wheel automation testing tool framework
