Our client is seeking a Technical Writer to create a comprehensive white paper and process documentation on the setup and operation of a creative workstation. This is a project based role, and will be about 1 week to complete. This role is hybrid onsite, near DFW airport, onsite for the first 1-2 days to get acquainted with the work station and process. Execute of the white paper can be completed onsite or remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed white paper/process document for a new creative station setup
- Document step-by-step procedures for user login and logout processes.
- Specify the software required for optimal functionality and productivity.
- Outline the technical parameters for GPU and CPU usage, ensuring alignment with performance needs.
- Provide an inventory of available hardware, including monitors, headphones, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the documentation.
- Organize and present information in a clear, structured, and visually appealing format.
Qualifications
- Must have previous and proven experience as a Technical Writer for a process focused white paper or similar documentation
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with hardware components (e.g., GPUs, CPUs, peripherals) and software used in creative and design environments.
- Ability to distill technical details into user-friendly content.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in using tools for documentation creation (e.g., Microsoft Word, Visio, or similar)
