Our General Claims Legal Department is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience with insurance defense work, principally related to auto accident and premises liability, and handling commercial coverage litigation.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise outside insurance defense litigation, coverage litigation and appellate work
Provide General Claims staff with legal advice regarding coverage and various claims questions
Assist General Claims staff with regulatory matters, fraud investigations
Develop and implement litigation strategy collaboratively with claims staff and outside defense counsel
Advise General Claims staff on legal developments in case law, statutes and regulations
Job Requirements:
JD and admission to NJ Bar required
Minimum of 4 years of experience handling insurance coverage and insurance defense work both personal and commercial
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Must be decisive and well organized
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $132,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
