Sr. Graphic Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Sr. Graphic Designer to lead our design team in creating visually stunning and effective marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, with the ability to manage projects from concept to completion, while also mentoring junior designers. This role requires a mix of creativity, leadership, and technical skills, particularly in print production and retail design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design team in the development of creative concepts and designs.
- Oversee the production of print materials ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing and project management teams to deliver effective design solutions.
- Present design concepts and final deliverables to stakeholders confidently and professionally.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering their skills and encouraging innovative thinking.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to create engaging graphics, layouts, and illustrations.
- Employ color theory and typography principles to enhance visual communication.
Qualifications
- Must have a mixture of print & digital samples in portfolio
- Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in the Perimeter area
Ability to present to leadership
- Retail work experience (Merchandising/POP, Packaging, tradeshow)
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in retail.
- Proven leadership experience in managing design teams and projects.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with print production processes and electronic file management.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools and team collaboration software, such as Adobe Workfront and Microsoft Teams.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
