A Brief Overview
Under direction, independently resolves complex patient accounts
What you will do
- Subject matter expert, handles most complex issues, performs audits.
- Ensure accurate collections. Ensures clean audit process.
- Provides excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least seven (7) years experience in Healthcare Collections Required
- At least eight (8) years experience in Healthcare Collections Preferred
- Hospital payment posting experience preferred
- Homecare billing experience preferred
- Home Infusion/DME (durable medical equipment) or Pharmacy billing experience preferred
- HCFA 1500 forms experience for Billing any Infusion/DME/Enteral preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent attention to detail, organized, computer skills, strong analytical skills Special Projects - Focus task, detail oriented, considered as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
