As a Software Sales Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's growth and success. You will work closely with our sales team to promote and sell our software solutions to customers. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, providing technical expertise, and building strong relationships to drive sales. You will work in both a pre-sale as well as a post sales role. You will be teamed with a dedicated seller to team on driving growth by driving strong end user adoption of our software solutions. Your intent and goals are to become a trusted advisor for our clients and partners technical teams through collaboration with channel partners, local consultants, key sales personnel, and solution architects for overall strategy with clients and partners.
The Software Sales Engineer helps drive sales by leveraging your subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will drive cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations. You will consult prospective users on product capability. You will provide valuable input for product development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand customer needs and provide technical expertise to drive software sales
- Collaborate with sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Help Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the software market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is <$110,000 - $158,000>. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is <$127,000-$158,000>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven record of success in software sales roles promoting SaaS solutions.3 or more years
- Strong technical background in software solutions * Excellent communication and negotiation skills
