Our client, a major software company, is needing a Software Developer for a 12 month assignment offering 40 hours/week. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days/week onsite in San Francisco.
Summary: This job posting is specific for a Software Developer that is a team leader. This person needs to have a good understanding of Data warehousing concepts and some SQL knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Should have a product-focused mindset to understand business requirements and architect systems that will scale and extend to accommodate those needs
- Collaborate with business teams, CRM, data scientists, product managers and all data stakeholders to understand their needs and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product designers, product managers, engineers to implement high-quality solutions
- Take full ownership of the initiative and deliver it end to end solution
-Work with cross functional teams for the dependencies and finalize the solution appropriately
- Work with Engg team on the Deliverables /defect fixes
- Work with Release Management for the production deployment
- Arrange sprint planning /Sprint demos and other Sprint ceremonies
-Communicate expectations, goals and feedback to the group regularly and resolve any concerns or issues actively.
-Identify and address conflicts early, facilitating discussions and finding satisfactory solutions for all parties involved.
- Support and guide team members to ensure they meet their individual targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
-Strong leadership and organizational skills.
-Excellent analytical and decision-making acumen.
- Familiarity with the software development process, including specification, quality assurance, and documentation

-Capable of performing requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels
Must Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other equivalent experience in software development/IT
- 5+ years of experience in leadership, project management or other relevant areas.
- Must have experience on Data warehousing concepts ETL tools
- Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling.
- Good working knowledge of any ETL or ELT tool (Matillion or Informatica or SSIS)
- Ability to effectively function in a cross team's environment, Experience in gathering and analyzing system requirements
