Reporting to the Manager Supply Chain Capabilities you, the Senior Supply Chain Capabilities Analyst will be a liaison between system users, business partners and IT. You will be the first contact for any system related issues whether originated by IT or the users. You'll identify training opportunities, system business process gaps, system performance concerns and system enhancement needs. You will be critical with any related system implementations to ensure our users are prepared and to provide ongoing support for daily operations. You will have ongoing responsibilities for identifying and implementing system enhancement and related processes and provide ongoing training in the area of transportation
Position Responsibilities
- Work withbusiness processowners to analyze, design, and implementsystematicprocesses and process improvements
- Liaison with IT regarding implementations, system enhancements, and upgrades
- Lead the work effort to ensure the team is prepared for any system changes - training, SOP's, establishment of super user forum and communicate progress and identification of any gaps
- Review current business processes to determine where automation / improvements will guide efficiency. Identify process efficiencies, recommend uses of software functionality, design, implement solutions and train end-users
- Documentfunctional requirementsfor configuration and development
- Collaborate with technical resources to ensure delivery of development solutions
- Implementation of system configuration solutions
- Support all aspects ofsystem testing for SAP, OTM (Oracle Transportation management) EDI and S4.
- Support Carrier EDI testing
- Provide team guidance and training
- Summarize issues and communicate recommendations to leadership
- Escalationcontact for internal and external customers
- Challenge status quo and act as a change champion
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business,computer science, or other relevant disciplines
- 4 plus years of business-related experience supportingTransportationor other areas of the Supply Chain
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods industry
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), SAP and EDI.
- Experience communicating with technical, functional, and leadership audiences.
- Travel up-to 25%
- In office 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday
