Senior Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis

This position operates under the guidance of the Associate Director who supports the Global Regulatory Affairs & Clinical Safety (GRACS) and Quality Assurance (QA) organizations within our Research & Development Division .
Key responsibilities include:
Provide financial planning, forecasting and analytical support to our Research & Development Division, Global Regulatory Affairs & Clinical Safety (GRACS), and QA organizations.
Forecast spend related to headcount and external resourcing as well as provide financial support for associated collaborations with other partners.
Develop and participate in team presentations associated with any financial and/or operational review with client areas being supported.
Support project team decision making by providing relevant financial information and insight.
Play a central role in developing the Profit Plan, Long Range Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and monthly/quarterly close activities.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing supplemental support to one or more activities impacting the broader GRACS Finance team.
In this role, the candidate should expect to:
Gain end-to-end exposure to the drug development process and the Research & Development pipeline while gaining relevant experience supporting functions in Our research labs, GRACS and QA.
Influence and impact clients by helping to navigate a world of almost limitless scientific opportunities but with limited financial resources.
Gain experience working with global business partners to forecast and manage their regional budgets and regulatory filing expenses.
Further develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Gain experience in change management, project management and people management.
Increase personal network through engagement with other key business partners (IT, Project Management, Human Resources, Procurement, etc.)
Travel: Limited to no travel in the job unless deemed important by the business or clients.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
B.A./B.S., preferably in Business, Finance, Science or Engineering
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of operations or Finance experience
Must have the desire to continuously learn and continue professional development
Strong computer skills, especially working with Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a challenging and complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence, build and maintain diverse client and peer relationships
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills, especially working with Excel and PowerPoint

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:
$101,100.00 - $159,100.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
