Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: 1414 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28203
Duties: Develop baseline technology standards, tools, platforms, and processes in support of the overall technology and data strategy. Utilize advanced DevOps practices to enable fast feedback loops using automation, containers, infrastructure as code, feature flags, deployment testing, and automatic rollbacks. Develop and implement a modern technology ecosystem to support various functions. Support multiple lines of businesses or applications of medium to highly complex (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) technologies at a global level with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility. Work closely with business and technology colleagues to create services built using modern, consumer-focused solutions. Provide thought leadership in the proper implementation of processes and tools that best align with the organization's strategic objectives. Implement monitoring systems and processes to consistently improve incident resolution times. Communicate critical events and their impact to stakeholders, IT teams and leadership to drive their tactical and long-term resolutions. Execute timely communication with the Business, Technology, Risk and Compliance stakeholders and leadership on critical issues. Drive retrospective sessions with technical squad leads to prioritize and close outstanding issues in a timely manner.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in n Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as an Engineer, Developer, or Technical Associate, Consultant, Architect, or related position responsible for performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing monitoring solutions to support software applications.; applying knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for applications development; working with PL/SQL, Unix, Shell, GitHub, Jenkins, BitBucket, Oracle, Confluence, JBoss, Websphere, and Jenkins; working with open source code and frameworks; and using build tools, including GIT.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $155,688 - $162,550/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
