Senior Project Manager (Consumer Products Licensing)

Position Overview
This Senior Project Manager will ideally have a Consumer Products and retail experience in entertainment licensing and retailing, ideally with Walmart or Target. In addition to having exceptional organizational project management experience /skills, they should be a clear communicator who is timely in their responses and follow ups and a driver to keep the team all on track and on time. Ability to correspond both internally and externally (licensees etc) in a professional way given these are our most important relationships.

This is a 6 month, 40 hour per week contract. Onsite requirements are pending, but will likely require hybrid onsite in Los Angeles, CA. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Central hub for managing the logistics at various stages of Consumer Products (CP) program execution e.g., ensuring product info is updated and consolidated for easy use, deliverables are executed on time etc. 
  • Product pipeline management (deadlines, sampling, ship/set dates, product details (Walmart IDs/Target DPCI, exclusives, etc.)
  • Communicating: Keeping stakeholders informed and engaged, and resolving issues
  • Documenting: Maintaining project documentation and using project management tools
  • Managing timelines and follow ups with internal cross-functional and some external partners to ensure timely delivery
  • Pulling together cross category visual line lists for retailers
  • Updating decks and trackers
  • Keeping our streaming client's internal teams and our retailers and licensees aware of all date changes, deliverables, and implications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knows how the key functions of Consumer Products operate and how to help move the work along across those functions (licensing, product dev/creative, retail, marketing). 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a retail environment supporting Consumer Products.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in resolving complex issues and implementing strategic solutions.
  • Familiarity with plannogramming and retail merchandising principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
