WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage large- and small-scale projects and initiatives throughout the entire Project Management Lifecycle, from assessment through project completion with minimal or no supervision, including but not limited to budgeting, hours tracking, project planning, project delivery, change management, transition to operations, and project deployment.
- Manage various project teams, often without formal authority for team members. Provide coaching and guidance to project team members to ensure they fully understand their tasks and act on them efficiently. Supervise other team members’ projects and provide coaching to less experienced staff as needed.
- Facilitate cost effective and practical decisions and solutions with stakeholders in a consensus-based environment.
- Present project updates to IT and senior College leadership.
- Create deliverables on time that are agreed to by key stakeholders.
- Assess functional business needs and draft detailed requirements documentation.
- Work with business stakeholders to prioritize change requests and gather requirements.
- Draft use cases to support testing.
- Lead and deliver change management results for projects.
- Oversee drafting of business requirements and maintaining technical documentation for workflow rules, validation rules, formula fields, escalation rules, auto-assignment rules, etc.
- Support the release management process by overseeing and managing the development of new work as it is released into the test/production environment.
- Conduct testing, as needed, to ensure functionality and that design specifications have been correctly coded and configured.
- In collaboration with Director of PMO, design metrics for managing the Project Management Office and provide support and input on the College-wide project prioritization process.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field or equivalent
At least 7+ years of directly related project management work experience.
Experience working with developers and/or outside vendors on system extensions, customizations, and integrations with third party applications.
Experience with general CRM practices/standards.
Ability to translate customer/business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem.
Must have a strong understanding of internet-based applications and tools.
Must have superior verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Must have excellent innovation capabilities and the ability to think outside the box.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to set and meet aggressive timelines.
Experience working within a team environment and independently.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with analytic and project management tools (SQL, JIRA, Smartsheets, Confluence).
Experience with MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, Vision)

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Requires work onsite as needed based on manager discretion and project needs; the on-campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
- MBA preferred
- PMP Certification is preferred
- Must be familiar with Agile and Scrum ceremonies
- Familiar with Salesforce and Workday Platforms
- Experience with outsourced resources (domestic or international) a plus
