GCSAA is seeking a creative, dynamic Senior Manager of Marketing who will be responsible for the year-long integrated strategic marketing efforts designed to achieve membership, engagement, and revenue goals of GCSAA. This position will develop targeted marketing messages that elevate and enhance the GCSAA brand, golf course management profession, role of the superintendent and their role within communities and the environment utilizing all communication mediums and assets including print, TV, radio, podcast ads, retargeting tools, digital and social. This is a results-oriented role working collaboratively with multiple departments to develop and implement multi-faceted marketing plans to drive and retain membership, generate engagement with GCSAA's assets as well as generate attendance and market exhibit & sponsorship sales for GCSAA's largest asset, the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show (CTS).
Qualified candidates possess
- Demonstrated knowledge in brand management, promotion, advertising, and creative collateral and marketing plan development and implementation
- Knowledge of the latest marketing trends (including how to use AI)
- Strong attention to detail, coupled with creative thinking and copywriting skills
- Practical project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage several, concurrent projects
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment; ability to build healthy and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years' experience in an advertising or marketing setting
- Hands on experience developing and implementing multi-faceted marketing plans across multiple platforms
- Comfortable working on both Apple and PC Platforms, and Adobe Acrobat
- Understanding the role GCSAA members play in their communities and the environment, the game of golf, and golf industry preferred
- Knowledge of Monday.com, PropFuel and Feathr are a plus
- Familiarity in a non-profit, membership driven environment preferred
- GCSAA will place a preference on local candidates or those willing to relocate to Lawrence, KS but will consider remote applicants
- This position will travel annually to the GCSAA Conference & Trade Show

Compensation range is $65,000 - $75,000/annually.
