Senior Environmental Technician - Wastewater and Potable Wat

Where will you work: You will be based at our New Wales site (3095 COUNTY ROAD 640 WEST | MULBERRY, FL 33860)

Join our team as a Senior Environmental Technician! In this role, you’ll collect samples, observe facility operations, interpret data, and communicate any issues with both operations and management. You’ll provide technical training to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Additionally, you’ll troubleshoot and maintain our environmental electronic database and inspection records, making modifications as needed. Your expertise will also be crucial in implementing new software and equipment to support ongoing environmental compliance. Plus, you’ll direct contractors when necessary.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with strict regulatory procedures.

  • Provide technical training to assist with on-going compliance.

  • Interpret data and communicates environmental issues to operations and environmental management.

  • Provide recommendations to encourage environmental excellence throughout maintenance and operations.

  • Perform inspections of plant areas to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide expertise to implement new software and equipment to continue on-going environmental compliance.

  • Troubleshoot and manage environmental field sampling data using an electronic database.

What you’ll need:

  • High School/GED

  • Class D Domestic Wastewater Operator License

  • Class C Potable Drinking Water Operator License

  • 2+ Years Environmental Health and Safety experience

  • 1+ Years Microsoft Office Suite experience

Bonus Points if you have:

  • 2+Years Operations experience
