Senior Environmental Health and Safety Analyst
Work Location and Schedule: You’ll be based at our North American business headquarters, situated at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive in Lithia, FL. As part of a flexible arrangement, you’ll have three dedicated office days—Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Additionally, you’ll enjoy the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Plus, there’s an exciting opportunity to follow a 9/80 schedule, which means you’ll have every other Friday off. Bonus if you are into fitness we have a facility onsite!
As an EHS Analyst at Mosaic, you’ll collaborate with our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) teams, Operations, and IT stakeholders. Your mission? To develop, implement, and manage EHS compliance and reporting toolsets for Enterprise Operations. We’re all about efficiency, so you’ll also leverage innovative technology solutions to streamline our EHS processes. Plus, your knack for translating data into actionable insights will play a key role in helping Mosaic make informed decisions regarding EHS matters.
What you’ll do:
Develop and manage databases and data structures to support business requirements.
Collaborate on data categorization and dashboard enhancement.
Standardize processes for best practices in all facilities.
Utilize advanced analytics to monitor compliance within Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) operations.
Generate data reports for analytical decision-making and process improvements.
Evaluate and enhance analytical tools and reporting systems.
Support EHS compliance, regulatory monitoring, and policy engagement.
Assess business tool needs in collaboration with Operations and IT.
Oversee project proposals, design, and requirement gathering for new business tools.
Conduct user testing and manage system enhancements.
Maintain and troubleshoot business tools.
Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide relevant training.
Lead EHS data management and analytics initiatives as a subject matter expert.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information technology, computer science, engineering or other science related degree.
5+ years of data analytics experience will be considered in lieu of education
3+ years of hands-on project experience in data management, modeling, and analytics.
2+ years of data warehouse experience, including data modeling and visualization.
Proficient in querying and reporting from relational databases.
Advanced abilities in Excel, Power BI desktop, Power Platform, premium, and services.
Ability to profile information systems, capturing source/target mappings, and transformations based on project requirements.
Demonstrated ability to leverage data management and metadata solutions to catalog data and analytics assets.
Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI.
Expertise in advanced calculations on datasets.
Adept at publishing and scheduling Power BI reports.
Solid understanding of database maintenance and administration principles.
Bonus points if you have the following:
5+ years working with environmental, health, and safety data.
Technical certifications in BI Software Development.
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related fields.
