Job Description:

Day to day duties – Conversion from Foxboro to PlantPAx logic, reviewing communication between both systems, attending meetings, site visit(1 week/ cutover), coordination with other team members and lead engineer, sharing updates with Lead engineer and PM.
Top 3 skills MUST have : Foxboro DCS knowledge, PlantPAx knowledge, Foxboro Communication knowledge, can travel to Site
Years of experience required : 8+
Education requirements : BS in Engineering preferred or other relevant degree
- Emerging technical leader.
- Takes ownership of technical tasks with minimal direction
- Analyzes customers requirements to determine the optimal control system solution and determines applicable hardware and software control configuration/architecture
- Performs conceptual hardware & software systems design, determination of control system strategy to meet customers’ requirements while complying with industry codes/standards and assure that personnel/machinery safety practices are implemented
- Performs software development and design of custom application software
- Oversee integration of 3rd party hardware and control systems
- Write technical specifications and project reports as required
- Lead the technical planning and direction of internal and customer system testing
- Takes ownership of issues, capable of engaging all levels of the organization to drive issues to resolution
- Provide on-site control system commissioning as required
- Experience in the design of industrial automation control systems and/or related application experience
- Leadership capability in applications of the different areas of automation systems including the interaction of mechanical, Fluid, Pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Technical writing capabilities
- Presentation skills
- Communicates in a professional manner
- Effectively manages their own natural reactions so there are no behaviors getting in the way of their effectiveness
- Self-starter and ability to complete tasks independently, on time
- Team player with the ability to integrate with other team project members
