Schneider is seeking a Senior Driver Compliance Specialist in Green Bay, WI to evaluate and assess whether drivers' motor vehicle reports, physicals and sleep apnea compliance information require intervention. The Senior Driver Compliance Specialist will be a subject matter expert in Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the operations team for questions regarding motor vehicle reports, driver physicals and sleep apnea compliance.
- Review drivers' motor vehicle reports and determine if they are aligned with guidelines.
- Complete research with the State Department of Motor Vehicles or courts regarding criminal charges.
- Audit drivers' annual reviews to ensure compliance with Federal Regulations and provide feedback to team members when errors are identified.
- Resolve problems regarding sleep apnea and driver physicals and place drivers out of service when necessary.
- Report drivers who are overdue for sleep apnea surveys, who have a medical card expiring and who have failed physicals.
- Prepare information for legal review.
Skills and qualifications:
- Medical assistant degree, certified nursing assistant degree or associate degree in medical office management.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
- Experience with motor vehicle reporting.
- Strong medical knowledge and able to analyze medical information.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
