This opportunity offers an equal emphasis on investment origination and asset/portfolio management, providing critical support to our acquisitions and asset management teams. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in financial analysis, underwriting, investment/portfolio modeling, and investment execution. This position offers a level of responsibility commensurate with experience and requires some travel.   *This position is an in-office position, with an immediate start date.   Position Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite and analyze new investment opportunities.
  • Develop financial models using Argus and Excel to assess existing and prospective investments.
  • Conduct leasing and capital improvement cost-benefit analyses, including hold-sell evaluations.
  • Perform market research to assess investment trends, demographics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Manage due diligence processes, including coordinating third-party reports and closing procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual reports, portfolio analyses, valuation and investment committee materials.
  • Interact and engage regularly with senior leadership and management, and assist in supporting their relationships with sponsors, borrowers, and lenders.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives to improve team performance and investment outcomes, while also assisting with research and data mining projects.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree or advanced professional designation, such as a CFA, is preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in commercial real estate investment, asset management, and financial analysis required.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint is required; Argus experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial accounting and valuation techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial analyses effectively.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Travel up to 10% annually may be required.
