Full Job Description
We're looking for creative, bright people with integrity & a strong work ethic interested in working with a world renowned chocolate company through this holiday season

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ability to perform all store opening and closing duties consistently and efficiently

Establish a superior level of customer rapport focused on building relationships, tailoring experience/offerings/selections to individual customer needs

Facilitate checkout process using Square POS

Efficiency in execution of café bar operations

Receiving shipments (this process includes unloading medium-heavy boxes in to our stores)

Sales Floor and Store maintenance:

Daily restocking and merchandise rotating

Uphold high visual merchandising standards

Ensure products, fixtures and stock areas are clean, fresh, and visually appealing

Acquiring and maintaining a high level of product knowledge through training & research

Keeping our regular clientele informed of current and future merchandise offerings and special events

Monitoring online store, filling online orders accurately and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, mixed retail environment

Experience with an electronic POS (Square) and understanding of inventory management systems.

Excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail balanced with "big picture" thinking and a high standard for excellence and pride in the work that you do

Proficiency with cloud-based POS/Inventory Management Systems and Excel a strong plus.

Availability on weekends and holidays

Familiarity with espresso machines and cafe items is a bonus

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, along with many tasks requiring dexterity. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is for 18-24 hours weekly (3-4 shifts of 6 hours each). Days and hours of work vary by weekly schedule. Weekend and Holiday will be required as business needs demand. Holiday hours may vary as business needs demand.
