Requirements

 Reporters are a big part of our effort to continue to grow, both in print and online. Here is the best part for applicants – you can be fresh out of college or a journalist with decades of experience.

We are looking for the ever-elusive “it” factor. Yes, we want reporters to cover the day-to-day stories. But we also seek someone who wants to write in-depth and make a true difference in the community.

We chronicle life in our communities and present that through insightful, meaningful journalism.

Benefits

The fringe benefits include medical (split between employer and employee), dental and vision options (employee paid). There are three company-sponsored benefits, including short-term disability, long-term disability and a term life insurance policy. The company pays for these six major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day). In addition, employees accrue paid leave per pay period.
