Job Description:
Recruiter
- Location: Onsite in San Antonio, TX
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Duration: 12 months
Summary:
As a recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruitment cycle, from posting job ads and searching databases to networking and qualifying candidates. You’ll screen resumes, conduct interviews, and maintain candidate records. Once candidates are shortlisted, you’ll present them to hiring managers and assist in salary negotiations to meet both parties’ needs.
You’ll handle multiple recruitment requests, support hiring managers, and contribute to strategies for compensation, development, and equal employment. A key part of your role will involve engaging with interns and early talent, organizing recruitment events, and representing the company at college recruitment events. You’ll support University Relations and Early Talent programs, ensuring a positive and proactive approach with meticulous attention to detail and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete recruitment cycle including posting job advertisements, searching the Internet and relevant databases, networking and qualifying candidates.
- Screens, interviews and registers prospective professional candidates.
- Submits and reviews candidates with the hiring manager.
- Assists in negotiating salaries and satisfying customers needs.
- Handles multiple requests simultaneously and provide professional support to managers.
- Able to understand and advance companys compensation, people development, and equal employment strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
- CRM/ATS experience (preferably Workday, Yello, or Paradox)
- Effective communication with attention to detail, and action with a sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting on finance, insurance, and/or technical roles
- High energy - you will be working with college/university students
- Previous University Relations experience
