Full Job Description

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Quality Lead focuses on implementing, executing, improving and providing general quality support to Contract Manufacturing sites and the Contract Manufacturing Operations Team, Technical Innovation Management Teams and CCBTs (Country Category Business Teams) in relevant the market for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, innovation execution, quality risk management and quality improvement.

The role will support mitigation and management of the company design and production of products that meet the company environmental, consumer safety and quality standards.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Supports company Quality strategy, governance and goals through regional specific projects and targets
  • Ensures and verifies ongoing compliance to company Quality management standards in Contract Manufacturing Partners through KPI monitoring and non-conformance monitoring, intensive care, technical visits (as needed) and general oversight
  • Supports Cluster-specific quality improvement initiatives with Procurement and CMs (Contract Manufacturer) where applicable.
  • Supports changes to existing and new Contract Manufacturing Partners through activities that assure quality/hygienic control processes are in place and operating efficiently, e.g. follow up on audit action plans
  • Leads or supports quality and/or consumer safety training for CMs (where applicable.
  • Supports that process changes and specifications meet company requirements and product quality needs
  • Support communication and training strategy and execution with Contract Manufacturing Partners.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in an FMCG environment, in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions as well as 3rd parties; preferably experience in interacting with, and influencing external stakeholders (such as trade associations, Regulatory authorities, etc.)
  • Ability to assess compliance, quality and safety risks, opportunities, and business impact.
  • Influencing and negotiating skills - able to create and apply argumentation to influence right outcomes both externally and internally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) including ability to convey complex scientific matter in a simple manner
  • Clear and logical thinker with the ability to recognize patterns and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Power Automate, Power BI, Word, etc.

  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a good team player with agility to respond quickly on any request
  • Must show ability to work in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment
