As our Quality Assurance Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of our commitment to excellence in our 503B outsourcing facility. Your mission? To evaluate, track, trend, and monitor all Quality Assurance activities, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, identity, strength, quality, and purity. With your deep understanding of cGMP requirements, you'll play a critical role in fostering a culture of quality, collaborating with diverse teams, and making a tangible impact on our operations.
When and where will you work?
- This is an onsite position in our Albany, Ohio facility working Monday – Friday.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for drug preparation and supporting activities including:
- Approve or reject starting materials, packaging materials, labeling and intermediate, bulk and finished products in relation to their specifications.
- Evaluate completed batch records and other relevant information to ensure procedures were followed, product tests performed appropriately, and the acceptance criteria met.
- Monitor the maintenance of the department(s), premises, processes, and equipment.
- Ensure that the required initial and continuing training of personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.
- Investigate reprocessing/rework of products, complaints, analytical failures, and returns/salvages.
- Create, revised, control and issue documents and labels.
- Identify trends in the industry and recommend improvements.
- Work with a team to ensure that the systems involved in an outsourcing facility are in a state of control.
- Supervise a team of QA technicians.
- Works on the floor with Quality staff to remediate issues in a timely fashion.

What you’ve done:
- Educational Foundation: You hold a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
- Industry Experience: With over 3 years of hands-on experience navigating US FDA cGMP's in a pharmaceutical environment, you understand the ins and outs of compliance.
- Technical Expertise: You possess knowledge of compounding techniques and controlled environments, ensuring the right materials and conditions are always met.
- QMS Familiarity: You have solid experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), contributing to high standards of quality and safety.
- Leadership Skills: With 2+ years of leadership experience, you’ve successfully guided teams and driven projects to completion.
