BLOX Digital is a leading digital solutions provider for media organizations across the United States and beyond. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team.

Position Responsibilities

Install and configure software on testing environments
Conduct software compatibility and regression tests
Documents results and offers improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation
Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside the organization
Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for quality assurance processes

Identify program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

At least 3+ years of quality assurance experience in agile development environments
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
Minimum 3+ years experience with web-based application testing
Minimum 3+ years experience with integration testing between applications
Defines problems, collects data, established facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions
Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
Self-starter that can work side by side with development team
Ability to multi-task and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and testing life cycle

Must be able to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person

Education & Experience

Understanding of application integration
Industry experience in News and Broadcast services
Working knowledge of Atlassian products
Familiarity with programming languages and MySQL
Familiarity with scripting languages used in test automation a plus
Scalability and performance testing
Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience
Desire to learn new technologies

Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
