Public Relations Assistant

Position Overview
The Pubic Relations Assistant will support the global publicity team. This role involves coordinating media relations, assisting with event planning, and managing social media communications to enhance audience engagement and drive awareness. This is a 12-month, 40 hour per week contract role. Eligible candidates must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in Culver City.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the international film publicity team with administrative support including scheduling meetings, answering phones, booking travel, processing expenses and invoices,
  compiling press coverage reports, helping to coordinate logistics for interviews and events and other duties as assigned.
• Supports all administrative tasks as assigned by the publicity leads
• Routes press releases, tune-ins and media alerts 
• Maintain and update department and team calendars with ongoing publicity
  activities
• Update rave sheets for all shows
• Assists with PR projects and events as needed

Qualifications

• 6+ months of work experience, preferably in PR or Communications
• Exceptional work ethic, discreet and trustworthy; must use good judgment as needed
• Efficient with software programs, including iCal, Keynote, Mail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and follow through on all
  projects
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Bachelor's degree is required.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
