Position Description:
As an Agile Technical Program Manager, you will leverage your skills in planning, organizing, communicating, and problem-solving. You will also bring leadership, analysis, critical thinking, conflict management, and risk management abilities. Your responsibilities include defining project scope and schedule, ensuring timely delivery of value, leading project meetings, preparing progress reports, managing risks and issues, and planning project delivery. You will manage multiple complex or high-risk projects, develop recovery strategies, and capture product requirements holistically. Your focus will be on innovating, developing, and delivering new products aligned with the Product Development (PD) portfolio, reducing risk through better analysis, decision-making, planning, and monitoring.
Skills Required:

  • Design, build, and maintain the HiL SW Validation Cycle plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Lead the gathering of product requirements and project scope across multiple teams or business functions.
  • Monitor progress and design recovery strategies if projects deviate from the plan.
  • Assemble and publish effective status reports for various audiences, from team members to executives.
  • Design and deliver executive-level presentations to support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) governance process.
  • Conduct retrospectives on completed projects to improve processes, policies, and tools.
  • Collaborate with peers, managers, and team members to solve problems, develop plans, and coordinate work.
  • Promote collaboration and transparency, building trusting relationships within the organization.
  • Play an instrumental role in the organization’s Agile transformation, acting as a change agent with strong leadership skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Skills Preferred:
  • Effective communication across written, verbal, and presentation formats for various audiences.
  • Ability to develop schedules using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Design and document project charters, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management plans.
  • Apply critical thinking to analyze problems, develop solutions, build resource forecasts, and manage risk.
  • Manage projects using Waterfall or Agile methods, including both software and hardware components.
  • Lead the gathering of product requirements and project scope across multi-functional teams.
  • Lead through influence to drive team and program success.
  • Manage and facilitate team meetings and initiatives to develop plans and achieve goals.
  • Strong knowledge of technology companies or domains and the interplay between Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Sales, and Professional Services.
  • Update, track, and communicate the status of initiatives and monitor release milestones.
  • Experience with JiraAlign is desired.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to travel via automobile or airplane may be required.
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 8+ years (6+ years with a Master’s Degree) managing projects in technology-based companies or technical domains.
  • PMP certification and experience managing projects to successful conclusions are desired.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification is desired.
  • Experience with dSpace Hardware/Software is desired.
  • Experience managing geo-dispersed project teams.
  • Experience in concurrent software development environments as part of complex build and merge management processes.
  • Technology product development experience is highly desired.
  • 2+ years of SAFe/Agile/Lean experience is preferred.
Education Required:
  • BSEE, BSCS, or other Engineering Technology collegiate degree.
Education Preferred:
  • PMP certification and Agile Scrum Master certification are desired.
Additional Information:
  • Position is fully onsite.
