Medline Industries has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in the Operating Room product division, this is located in Chicago, IL at our Merchandise Mart location offering a hybrid model of work. The Project Manager will lead and coordinate the project management efforts related to the integration and transition of acquisitions within Medline. This role demands exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills to effectively manage the complexities of merging healthcare entities and ensure a seamless post-acquisition handoff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business M&A goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders for assigned workstreams. Create a detailed integration project plan that shows critical path, highlights key dependencies and has risk mitigation built in.

  • Coordinate and facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

  • Coordinate and successfully manage the integration of all acquisitions focusing on effective organization and execution of system, process, and a smooth integration.

  • Facilitate robust cross-functional collaboration between manufacturing, quality, regulatory, warehouse operations, Sales & Marketing and IT teams to ensure all aspects of the merger process are addressed.

  • Use strong communication skills to bridge gaps between departments, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed throughout the integration process.

  • Proactively address and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the integration process with a focus on clear and organized problem-solving.

  • Conduct thorough due diligence to identify potential risks and issues related to the acquisitions, ensuring well-organized risk assessment and mitigation planning.

  • Develop and implement strategies to address identified risks, ensuring a systematic approach to risk management.

  • Track and report project performance against goals and objectives, providing regular.

  • Foster a positive environment during transitions to ensure employee engagement and minimize disruptions, focusing on effective communication and organization.

  • Develop and execute a detailed plan for a smooth handoff post-acquisition, ensuring all processes and responsibilities are clearly transferred and understood.

  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, summarizing project statues, risks, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or a combination of education and experience.

Relevant Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in project management, operations, or integration preferably in healthcare.

  • Proficient in managing multiple timelines, projects and priorities.

  • PMP Certification preferred.

  • Merger and Acquisition experience preferred.

  • Position requires travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state & international).
