Job Description:  This position will serve as the QED Programming Support Specialist for a U.S. Navy contract.  The QED Programming Support Specialist will provide support using databases for Naval Aviation, Naval Surface, Ship Maintenance, Shipyards and Ship Supply.  The position will provide advanced MS Excel, MS Access and Tableau experience and advanced coding in common languages to include SQL, NoSQL, Python, Java, R, and Scala. The position will collate information into meaningful reports and presentation material. 

Job Requirements/skill sets:  

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fluent use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the fluent use of Tableau, Jupiter/Advana and have an advanced ability in utilizing common programming languages to include SQL, NoSQL, Python, Java, R, and Scala.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing, modifying, and maintaining assigned programs, designing and implementing modifications to the interrelation of data within programs.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience monitoring the operation of assigned programs, data collected, and responds to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working on complex programs under close direction of higher level staff or supervisor.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing a full range of programming actions to produce several interrelated but different products from numerous
  and diverse data elements which are usually from different sources.

Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access:  U.S. citizenship required and a SECRET Clearance required. Must be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
