PROGRAM SPECIALIST I/ II/ III – TRANSPORTATION - Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) - (Position grade: $61,901 - $108,159) annually depending on qualifications and level of position hired, plus a generous paid benefits package including PPO/HMO.

Under direct to general supervision, provides support for the management of federal, state, and local funds; and leads, oversees, and participates in complex technical and administrative support duties, projects, and studies including preparing payment and reimbursements requests for regional transportation projects and as related to various transportation programs. Coordinates assigned activities with other departments and staff, member agencies, other regional and government agencies, and the public; performs routine analysis, maintains and reports information and data in support of CVAG programs and projects; and performs related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade including and supplemented by college-level coursework or working experience in transportation planning or engineering.
